I've decided to start posting here my poems and maybe later flash fiction as well. This here is my first free verse poem in English written in April 2017.

I don’t write poetry.
Not enough slick and fancy words for it.
But if I did
I would write about a single mother
Struggling to put a smile on her child’s face
Or about a man lost in his life, looking out for the end of the day,
Hoping for it to be the end of the world.
I would write about a couple in love just for a moment
But what seems like an eternity
And about all the right words
Uttered at all the wrong times and places.
If I wrote poetry
I would write about all that’s important.
